Why Attend Write2Ignite! 2012? Ask Me, I’ll Tell ‘Ya.

Write2Ignite!2012 is right around the corner. March 16-17 is fast approaching. The countdown is on and the conference will be here before you know it. You may be asking why you need to attend. There are lots of reasons to attend Write2Ignite! 2012. But let me begin by first asking some qualifying questions because we don’t just let anyone attend our conference, you know. We do have standards.

In order to attend the Write2Ignite! 2012 Conference, you must agree with at least one of the following criteria. This is a thoughtfully prepared list of  how to know if you are a writer.

1. Your very first friend was imaginary.

2. Bed and breakfast describes your office space.

3. You know that a muse is not one word.

4. Pacing isn’t a nervous habit to you.

5. Your bad memories are filed away neatly to used on future characters

Now that you have qualified, let’s look around Write2Ignite! 2012 and see what we find.   We’ve got 20 Presenters ready with 27 Workshops to choose from. That’s 9 authors, 2 Teen Track Instructors, 6 Editors, and 3 Agents.  Go ahead, check out their bio’s on the Presenters page.  A mighty fine group of folks, wouldn’t you agree?  By the way, our Presenters have met at least one of the qualifiers listed above as well. Just so you know, you’ll be in good company.

Okay, now that you’re qualified and interested, let’s talk money.  The full cost of the conference is only $95.00. Now, let’s break that down a bit. With 27 Workshops at a total cost of $95.00, why that’s less than $4.00 per workshop, not even as much as your morning coffee at Starbucks.

Hey Teens, we’ve got you covered with our Teen Track Program, Write Like a Pro. And it’s only $50!

Has the economy got you in a financial bind? I’ve got good news for you. Did you know that there are still scholarships available? Yes, Cecil Murphey, the good man that he is, is offering 10 full scholarships.

Want more reasons to attend? We got ‘em….

  • North Greenville University and the University of South Carolina are offering 1.0 CEU credit for attending.
  • Encourage reading by participating in our Blessing Box and donate books to Ready4Reading of Greenville, SC
