Say, “Cheese,” Please

Computer 3For years I kept trying to get a great candid shot of myself to use for all that (Ugh!) marketing we writers do. Nothing seemed to be just what I wanted.

They weren’t exactly ugly. They just weren’t the best me I wanted to see.Library 6

MeMeMikeySquareI hired a local photographer to take a bunch of shots of me at a park. I thought the beautiful scenery might make ME look a little better.

It didn’t.

Then, I heard about Sharon Brisken Photography. We, the Team, decided to invite Sharon to take PR photos at our 2014 Conference. I was the first person to sign up.

Jean HallWOW! She almost made me look good! She took her time and snapped a zillion shots of me. Then presented me with a CD of great looking photos. I think she even made me look younger! (Comments about this are not welcomed here, thank you.)

So, we invited Sharon to return in 2015, and work her photogenic magic again.Sharon Brisken She’s setting up 30 minutes sessions all day Saturday, March 28, 2015.

You can find Sharon’s contact info here. Email or call today, people. I bet she can make you look good, too. And for only $40.

Did I mention she loves to use props? So, if your stories or books are about turtles or tadpole, ducks or dinosaurs bring your props and/or costumes with you so Sharon can create photos you’ll love.

Spread the word!

And, we’ll see you March 27-28, 2015.

  1. Sharon took pictures of me last year and presented me with a cd with several that I really liked and have been using. I usually don’t like pictures of myself, but Sharon captured some even if like. You will enjoy your session with her as she makes the process painless.

  2. Sharon did my photos last year and I was so impressed with the CD I received. I’ve had many good comments about my photos.

I’m already scheduled for another photography session for the 2015 conference and I can’t wait!
