A pebble tossed into a pond spreads ripples in widening circles. Those ripples move twigs and leaves floating on that pond. Minnows and tadpoles are pushed along by the tiny waves. Even the mud settled at the pond’s shoreline reacts to that pebble.
So, Write2Ignite! influences and affects each of its constituents, who influence other writers, publishing professionals and...

28 Days To Go
Here at Write2Ignite! we believe in the power of prayer. This is why all of our plans start with prayer, and all of our activities end in prayer. We sincerely ask God to direct our steps, to shine His light on the paths He wants us to take.
Then we pray for the courage and character to follow.

I was trying recently to remember what kind of a writer I was while in high school. I must confess, however, that it was such a L-O-N-G time ago that I’m having trouble even remembering being in high school. That happens as your brain begins to transform into mush – be forewarned.

When mama duck heads across the pond her babies have no choice but to start paddling, too.
When couples realize they are...

But only if you need some help with your rusty manuscripts.
Please… pretty please… with a cherry on top please… check out the details by clicking on the CRITIQUES...

In 2011, our Write2Ignite! Conference emphasized JOY to the writers and illustrators who attended. In 2012 we want to center our Conference presentations and inspirations on HOPE.
We believe God has entrusted us Christian writers with His message of HOPE not only so that we can handle our own lives with HOPE instead of despair, but also so that we can give HOPE to our readers – the generation...

I was reading Moses’ story in Exodus the other day when one word jumped out of the passage and waved a big flag in my face. In Exodus 3:1 it was the word, Meanwhile. I quickly wrote the reference and a few thoughts into my writing journal.
This writer had to back-pedal a few verses to Exodus 2:23 -25 to get the front end of that word. The Children of Israel were enslaved in Egypt. During this...
