What a surprise! The Peggy Denny Show at WGGS-TV 16 in Taylors, SC invited Write2Ignite! to tape an interview. Peggy is a delightful hostess. She made the event a wonderful experience.

 The segment features Jean Hall and Vonda Skelton talking about this year’s Conference – especially our Teen Track. It will air on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. If you live in the Greenville-Spartanburg-Asheville area you can watch it on your television and cheer us on.

We’re praying this TV exposure will encourage Christians who want to write the stories and messages God lays on their hearts to register for Write2Ignite! 2012. So, spread the word!

28 Days To Go

Here at Write2Ignite! we believe in the power of prayer. This is why all of our plans start with prayer, and all of our activities end in prayer. We sincerely ask God to direct our steps, to shine His light on the paths He wants us to take.

Then we pray for the courage and character to follow.

This weekend I want to ask you, Dear Readers, to join us in praying for some specific needs in our Write2Ignite! family. Will you  please pray for Write2Ignite for the next three days?

And will you be so kind as to leave a little comment below letting us know that you will be praying with us?

Together we are asking God  to supply in these areas in ways that will bring Him glory:

• For wisdom to know God’s plans for Write2Ignite! 2012 and beyond
• For enough registrees to meet our financial obligations
• For good health, safety and clarity for our presenters – authors, editors and agents
• For our Praise & Worship Team to be tuned in to the whispers of the Holy Spirit
• For the Holy Spirit to join us in every session as our Master Teacher
• For good health, safety and protection for our Team members and their families
• For the children and young people we are trying to reach with the messages God lays on our hearts
• For registrees to come prepared to learn, to change and to grow as God directs
• For new or additional Team members as the Lord leads
• For  God to help us spread the word about our Teen Track among schools  and homeschools
• For God to open doors and help us all to make new friendships and connections at the Conference
• For God to bless us with book sales to supplement our funds
• For our special events like A Day Apart to supplement our funds
• That each of us might hear from God during the Conference

That all praise and glory and majesty might go Jesus Christ our Lord!

Lend a Hand to Write2Ignite!

Can you smell that? If you are a writer, you know that conference season is fast approaching. Write2Ignite! 2012 is in countdown mode. Yes, that’s right, Write2Ignite! 2012 is happening in just a few weeks.

The clock is ticking and the leadership team is busy getting the word out about the conference. We met last night and prayed over all the attendees, the presenters and for ourselves.  For Write2Ignite! 2012 to be a success, we need God’s help. And we need your help.

Half-way where?

Half-way to the deadline for applying for Cecil Murphey Scholarships for Write2Ignite! 2012.

 Feb. 28, 2012 – 11:59 PM  ET

 We have TEN scholarships to give away – FREE! Scholarships that cover the full  Registration Fee, folks, and we would LOVE to give one of them to YOU. 

And, please, spread the word to anyone you know who might be praying about how he or she can afford to attend Write2Ignite! 2012.

Who knows? Maybe this will be God’s way of supplying YOUR needs, Dear Reader.
