This week’s contest is open to everyone! Did you know that a CGI animated film of Pilgrim’s Progress is set for release in spring of 2019? How interested would you be in seeing this new version of Pilgrim’s Progress by WORLD News Group? (Note: we chose the Pilgrim’s Progress theme for our 2018 conference before finding out about the coming movie!)

Reminder: Don’t forget to check the guidelines for the “Faith and Freedom” writing contest cosponsored by EA Books Publishing and W2I. That contest is open to both adults and students attending W2I on September 21–22. The deadline for submissions is August 20! Winners of the “Faith and Freedom” contest will be announced at the W2I conference on September 22.

    • Hello, Jim! Good to hear from you! We’re excited about the new movie too–especially because of the theme we’ve chosen for this year’s conference. And we agree with your assessment of Pilgrim’s Progress; it’s an excellent and beautiful work.

  1. Honestly I would not watch the movie is because you can’t be friends with a movie like you can with a book. Also I feel as if I own the book, like it’s mine, and any change of the original plot would kill me. But I love the fact that it is the theme for this conference!

    • When you set out to watch a movie based on a book you love, it’s natural to feel wary. We understand! We’re also curious to know how faithful the movie will remain to its source material. I guess we’ll find out! 🙂
