Pilgrim seeks comfort, remembering those in danger.
Pilgrim Christian never forgets his family in danger. Although they didn’t accompany him on this journey, he prays for them and for others, both those who are persecuted for their faith (like Faithful) and those who stray from the narrow path.
Like Pilgrim, we continue to pray for NC and SC residents who have been removed from their homes or who face danger in them, while flooding continues. We pray for God’s comfort for those who have lost loved ones. Second Corinthians 1:3–4 says, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” (NIV)
