Calling All Teens Who Write

I was trying recently to remember what kind of a writer I was while in high school. I must confess, however, that it was such a L-O-N-G time ago that I’m having trouble even remembering being in high school. That happens as your brain begins to transform into mush – be forewarned.

Teen Track 2011

All kidding aside, I do remember that writing was a struggle for me. I loved studying grammar and putting all of those knit-picky rules into practice. But I think my creative writing skills were short a few crayons in my box.

That has  changed, however, in my old age. I love to write. I love words. And I can’t get enough of learning how to better use words.

Is the same thing true for you?

Do you know a young person of middle school or high school age who loves words, too?

Well, then, why not point that young person to our Write2Ignite! Teen Track? He or she can get the 4-1-1 right here straight from Vonda Skelton’smouth. She’s one incredible teacher and those middle school and high school word lovers will get a real boost from participating in her workshops. You can check Vonda out at her website.

How about that Chris Schweizer? He’s one crazy cartoonist. You can visit Chris at his Curious Old Library.

And, while you’re at it, dear Write2Ignite! friend, why not send this message out through your social networks? Come on, Tweet us, Friend us, Face us, Link us, Google us, blog us or put Write2Ignite’s web/blog out there any way you can.

We might just become your B-F-Fs – as in “4 ever.”

 Hope to see you soon!
