God has sent some outstanding and dedicated people to Write2Ignite! Authors, editors, agents, Team members, and wonderful attendees like YOU. One of those terrific people is Nancy Lohr, Acquisitions Editor at JourneyForth. We’re thrilled that Nancy will be joining us for Write2Ignite! 2012. In a recent email Nancy said some very encouraging things about her heart for Write2Ignite! – in particular about her session with Deanna Klingel.

Nancy speaks from her heart, but her words reflect our Write2Ignite! philosophy in general. I’d like to share them with you.

Nancy said:

I’d like to give writers hope that these conferences do, in fact, put publishing connections within reach. This is one of the last opportunities in today’s publishing world for a writer to speak directly with editors and agents. Beyond that, we need to be confident that, for the believer, the Lord orchestrates these connections.

Also, I’d like to lift the curtain on the publishing process from Deanna’s side, new to the process (though she has self-pubbed also), and from my side as the editor, having edited a wide range of books for all ages, with elements common to the process regardless of the content.

Deanna and I will hopefully communicate this in our conversation.

This is a one-of-a-kind presentation, so thanks for letting us give it a try at W2I, which was the birthplace of Deanna’s books Avery’s Battlefield and Avery’s Crossroad.
