Dear friends of Write2Ignite,
Write2Ignite provides education, inspiration, and encouragement to Christians who write for children and young adults. We do this by offering services and resources, and by creating a positive network consisting of both new and seasoned professionals.
We pray we will continue this mission for many years to come. Why? Because we want to help you create the best manuscripts possible and get them into the hands of readers. We want your creative products to bless children with stories and facts, but also with words that point them to Jesus.
Reorganizing Write2Ignite:
During the remainder of 2025 and into 2026, we are implementing some exciting changes. We are reorganizing our infrastructure and joining hands with THE WRITE COMMUNITY so everyone in the organization can share resources with more Christian writers.
THE WRITE COMMUNITY is an umbrella organization created by Becky Antkowiac that will include the following four organizations:
- Christian Writers Institute (CWI offers many online courses for writers.)
- The Write to Publish Conference (WTP is an annual, in-person conference in Wheaton, IL.)
- 540 (an online writer’s FREE educational group)
- Our own Write2Ignite (W2I will continue to specialize in writing for children)
We’ll feature each group in a blog post in January.
The same dedicated people who have been on our Write2Ignite Planning Team for years are still with us. But we have restructured ourselves by redistributing our workload and by adding a few new faces to our Team. We will have the same great services you’ve come to expect from Write2Ignite, including our Master Classes, Critique Groups, and all the other services.
Redesigning our Write2Ignite Website:
We are in the process of giving our website a facelift AND a tummy tuck! Little Town Marketing is providing us with a whole new look and more streamlined processes to make using our website faster and easier. We can’t wait for the unveiling in a month or two.
Restructuring our income base: Membership:
Since 2008, Write2Ignite has been a non-membership-based organization. It’s time for us to make a switch. So, TA-DA-TA-DA, we are announcing our Write2Ignite Membership Initiative.
Here’s the plan:
Membership dues will be $50 per year. That is good for 12 months. For example, if you join in March your renewal will be due in March of the next year. You will receive a reminder via email.
We will begin accepting members December 5, 2025. Just click on this link on Dec. 5 or later and use PayPal to start your membership. We’ll send you a receipt and our official W2I Charter Member badge for your own website, blog, or social media.
As a bonus, if you join Write2Ignite in December 2025, your membership renewal will not be due until January 2027.
That’s thirteen months for the price of twelve.
At only $50 a Write2Ignite membership makes a terrific Christmas gift for the children’s/YA writer in your life, or for yourself. When someone special asks what you want for Christmas, simply reply “Write2Ignite” and send them to our membership page.
