W2I Master Class is a one-day online event with three workshops focused on one aspect of writing for children and young adults. Of course, those who write adult fiction are welcome, too. So, invite all the writers you know! Sign up for our Newsletter (on the right) to stay informed about our events.
You may be thinking “Master Classes? I’m not a master. I’m not ready to take any Master Classes.”
Oh, yes, you are!
We’re not offering Master Classes to writers who are already Masters. These are focused, in-person, face-to-face classes taught by master authors and teachers designed to help writers who want to become masters at writing for children and young adults.
We’ve included lots of hands-on time for practicing your new and improved skills, complete with immediate feedback.
Our focus for W2I Master Classes is honing our writing skills. No marketing. No social media.
Our plans include the possibility of more Master Classes focused on other skills, too.
- Writing nonfiction
- Writing for children’s periodicals
- Writing devotions and Sunday school curriculum
- Writing for anthologies
- Writing for young children: picture books, board books, early chapter books
- Writing for middle graders and young adults
We would love to hear your ideas for future W2I Master Classes. Just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks.
