Recently, Jean Hall and I had a picture book party. I had a slew of picture books I'd received from publishers and stacks I'd taken out of the library. We read, compared, and analyzed books.
Jean knows a TON more about writing picture books; I'm a newbie in this department and trying to learn as much as I can.
Whether you are new to this genre like me, or a pro, like Jean, there is always more to learn. We're both looking forward to Laura Sassi's class in April.
