Children’s book author and educator Sue Irwin’s writing has appeared in AppleSeeds and Highlights for Children, and she is a frequent contributor to Clubhouse and Clubhouse Jr. magazines. Her two middle-grade books for the general market have received top awards, and she’s excited about her upcoming board book, Hey There, Blue Bird, Why Do You Chirp? (B&H Publishing, 2026) and picture book, Here and There: A Book About Earth and Heaven (Our Daily Bread, 2027).
Sue loves visiting with children in classrooms and libraries, and joining in on the fun with parents, educators, and librarians at conferences and children’s book festivals. When she’s not reading or writing, Sue can be found digging in the garden, designing and creating crafts, or cheering on her favorite athletes as they compete around the world.
