After our five judges reviewed the entries, votes were tallied up and “The Costume Closet” by Carolyn Bennett Fraiser is the winner for our Picture Book Manuscript Contest. For her imaginative story, Carolyn wins free registration to our writers conference, an engraved plaque, and a free detailed critique of her winning entry. Â
Honorable mention goes to Michele Jones, who came in 2nd with her delightful barnyard story titled “Lady the Butterfly.”
