As authors, whether you write for children or not, there are so many writers conferences, online workshops, clubs/groups, magazines, and more that you can subscribe to. Or become a member of.

WHY should you become a member of Write2Ignite

Do You Write for Children?

Who is your reading audience? Picture books, chapter books, middle grade, or young adult? All these age groups are included in Write2Ignite. It doesn’t matter if you write books, magazine articles, short stories, or flash fiction. If you write for any of these groups, you need to be a part of Write2Ignite!

The intro to our website says:

Write2Ignite provides education, inspiration, and encouragement to Christians who write for children and young adults. We do this by offering services and resources, and by creating a positive network consisting of both new and seasoned professionals.

We pray we will continue this mission for many years to come. Why? Because we want to help you create the best manuscripts possible and get them into the hands of readers. We want your creative products to bless children with stories and facts, but also with words that point them to Jesus.

If this appeals to you, keep reading!

Big, Big Changes!

The same dedicated people who have been on our Write2Ignite Planning Team for years are still with us. But we have restructured ourselves by redistributing our workload and by adding a few new faces to our Team. We will have the same great services you’ve come to expect from Write2Ignite, including our Master Classes, Critique Groups, and all the other services.

For 2026, the biggest addition to W2I is pairing with The Write Community. You can click on the link to learn more about it. And there’s also more information on our own website.

This is HUGE, y’all!

The Write Community is something I learned about last year. And I attended the Write To Publish conference last June for the first time. Loved it!

There is SO MUCH packed into this community! I’m thrilled W2I has joined hands with Becky Antkowiak (AKA Becky Blue) and her organization.
