The countdown is on! From Nov. 3–7, 2025, Write2Ignite will host the first-ever Christian Authors Reading Event (CARE), a week of free, faith-filled story connections for readers of all ages.

What is CARE?

CARE is a week-long celebration that pairs Christian children’s authors with classrooms, libraries, churches, and homeschool groups. During this special event, hosts can schedule free 20-minute virtual visits to bring inspiring stories and real-life authors directly to their readers.

Why This Event Matters

For kids, meeting an author can spark a lifelong love of reading and writing. For teachers, librarians, and parents, it’s a chance to introduce young readers to uplifting stories and encourage meaningful conversations about faith, creativity, and character, all at no cost.

How It Works

During CARE week, participating authors offer lively 20-minute virtual sessions filled with connection and creativity. Each visit includes a warm introduction, a short reading from the author’s book or article, a brief Q&A, and a recommendation of a favorite Christian or clean-reads kidlit title. Hosts may invite one or more authors, as their schedule allows. All of our authors agree with the Write2Ignite’s Statement of Faith, ensuring content that reflects a Christian worldview.

Cindy is a children’s author and interactive story adventure specialist. She is the founder of Designed2Glow, an engaging resource designed to help adults build better futures for kids through interactive story adventures. Her debut picture book, The Wonder of Under, debuted in February 2024 and was on the #1 New Release spot for a children’s concept book category on Amazon for three weeks. She has written for publications, such as Clubhouse and Clubhouse, Jr. magazines, and is currently working with a writing coach on her first mid-grade novel, Almost a Ghost.

When she’s not spinning tales, she’s rocking it as a professional marketing strategist, blending design and content to engage audiences. She delights in uncovering hidden gems while traveling with her husband, throwing epic-themed family events, and making magical memories with her grandkids.
