The Write2Ignite Podcast: Ep 16: Joyce McCullough

When Joyce’s mother died of breast cancer, she was gifted a stuffed lion with a yellow ribbon around its neck. This planted the seed for what would become “Look for the Pink Ribbons.” A picture book to help children dela with the loss of a loved one from cancer.

The reception of the book has blown Joyce away. She followed up with another picture book, “Max and her Stacks.” A lighter story about the joy of reading. This month, Brenda and I sit down with the former high school English teacher and discuss all things writing. From conference connections, to marketing classes, to learning that TikTok is not for everyone.
