Carol’s most recent book is Teaching the Story: Fiction Writing in Grades 4-8 (Maupin House, 2008). Carol enjoys teaching writing and has presented at many educator’s and writing conferences. She has published widely in newspapers and magazines and along with Joyce Hostetter, co-publishes Talking Story, a newsletter for educators and media specialists. Find her thoughts on the writing process, book reviews, and giveaways on her blog. HALF-TRUTHS, a young adult novel takes place in Charlotte, NC in 1952 and is on submission. She is working on the sequel, TOXIC. When she isn’t writing or blogging, you’ll find her walking with friends, swimming, or playing with one of her six grandchildren.

Jarm (‘J’ pronounced as a ‘Y’) Del Boccio finds her inspiration in everyday life, but in particular, when she travels the globe, observing the quirky things that happen along the way. Focusing on the lives of characters from the past, Jarm is devoted to breathing new life into the pages of history. LEAH JORDAN MEAHL
Leah Jordan Meahl has a degree in Writing and Theater, and has pursued both passions longer than she can remember. She loves to journey with new adult Christians through her blog at www.meahltime.com. In addition to publishing a few daily devotions and stories, she’s featured in the fiction and nonfiction anthologies of America’s Emerging Writers. Ava thoroughly enjoys her second career as an author, teacher, and speaker. She teaches a weekly, interdenominational Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) class of 300+ women from September through May. Ava has written for Focus on the Family, Christianity Today, and Haven Ministries. She has also been published in 30+ anthologies, including 25 Chicken Soup for the Soul books.
