A Season of Purposeful Connection

Summer is often a time of sunshine, rest, and togetherness — but it can also offer families a powerful opportunity for spiritual growth. That’s the heart behind Summer of Stories, a new faith-based initiative created by Christian children’s author and mom Erin Greneaux. Her vision? To give parents access to quality, values-driven books their children will love — and that spark meaningful conversations about faith.

“I wanted to connect Christian parents with authors who are writing books that align with their values,” Erin shared. “At the same time, I wanted to help these authors reach the families they’re writing for.”

More Than Just Storytime

Summer of Stories isn’t just about reading — it’s about relationships. Erin designed the experience to deepen family bonds and create faith-centered dialogue in the home.

“Books with strong values naturally open the door for important conversations,” she explained. “They give parents an easy way to talk about God and Biblical principles in everyday life.”

Faith-Filled Authors with a Shared Vision

Choosing contributors for the series was a deeply personal process for Erin. She turned to trusted friends in the Christian writing community — authors who not only tell engaging stories but also share a passion for nurturing kids’ hearts with God’s truth.

“Many of these writers are personal friends, and some are behind my kids’ favorite books,” she said. “Every one of them is committed to sharing God’s love through their work.”

Supporting a Larger Mission

Erin understands firsthand what Christian authors need to thrive: visibility, feedback, and connection. Summer of Stories helps deliver all three by spotlighting books, encouraging family interaction, and inviting readers to leave reviews that benefit both authors and fellow parents.

“Reviews are a game changer,” Erin noted. “They help authors improve, gain credibility, and reach new families.”

That’s why the series includes daily book giveaways, comment sections for interaction, and video features that bring the authors — and their stories — to life.

A Win for Families

Parents are responding with enthusiasm, and so are Erin’s own children.

“My kids look forward to each of the daily videos and want to watch them again and again,” she said. That excitement is what Erin hoped for — stories that kids love and parents trust.

The series also serves as a preview platform, helping parents confidently choose books that are both enjoyable and aligned with their values.

How to Get Involved

Want to support this growing initiative? There are three simple ways to join the adventure:

  1. Share the series — All videos are available through August 1, so there’s still time to catch up and enjoy them as a family.
  2. Leave a review — It only takes a minute but makes a huge impact.
  3. Buy a book — Whether it’s for your child, a grandchild, or a neighbor, each purchase supports a Christian author and places a message of hope in a child’s hands.

“Two minutes for a review might seem small,” Erin said, “but it means the world to authors who pour their hearts into serving your family.”

Looking Ahead

Erin dreams of making Summer of Stories an annual tradition — one that families look forward to each year as part of their summer rhythm.

“I hope kids beg their parents to sign up every year,” she said with a smile. And the best part? It’s not too late to dive in.

Families can sign up and access the entire series through August 1 — whether they’re just discovering it or returning for more.

This summer, let stories be more than entertainment. Let them be a bridge — to faith, connection, and cherished memories.
